I am helping one of my friend/customers with KSS / Swing-arm 'Special', organizing all the parts and doing the engine /gearbox assembly here while he tackles the 'rolling chassis' . Here is a very nifty blueprint sent me by Ivan Rhodes , in hopes it might aid/ influence us to use a KTT type head on it.  Now all we need is find someone to cast it up!

Welcome! - and a bit of shop history -

Hi & Welcome!
My name is Ed Gilkison, and I am head sweeper here at Ed Gilkison Velocette Service.
The purpose of this blog is too allow me to share with you what goes on in the 'shed' , my bike shop here at the "Lazy G Ranch" - as my friends call our place.
Also share my photos from scrap books of bike projects, and info , tech tips and anything that I think might be of interest.
I contribute to Pete Young's Facebook group 'Velocette Motorcycles' when I can, and my buddy , Geoff Blanthorn is gearing up to bring our 'Ed Gilkison Velocette' shop website up and running again - so keep an eye open for it.

My shop 'Ed Gilkison', specializing in Velocette motorcycle parts and service,  has been going for  26  years now . I purchased the business from Bob Strode, over in Woodinville Washington in 1987. Bob had the Velocette business for ten years, having bought it from Ellis Taylor, from Santa Barbara, and Ellie had it for just a few years, having bought it from  -Lou Branch. Lou had this same Velo business from 1950 to 1975 (when he retired and sold it to Ellie) - and before Lou Branch, it was 'Jack Frodsham Velocette Motorcycles' . Jack was at 2019 West Pico Blvd. Los Angeles 6 , Calif.,  from the late thirties.
