I have done several builds, and rebuilds, that the owner requested that his bike to have all the Thruxton goodies, here at the Lakebay Velocette Works.
One of these is the Venom of Bill Maxwell's, up in the Seattle area. The project was started for someone else, with a Venom I had in stock, but they encountered health issues, and sold the bike on to Bill. Bill had it for about ten years or so, and just recently sold it on to it's next caretaker.
When Geoff Blanthorn and I visited Bertie Goodman, years ago, he reckoned Veloce Limited could have stayed in business, if they produced in limited numbers just one model of Velo. - the Thruxton -
